Toccoa
Located in Stephens County near the South Carolina border, Toccoa serves as a regional hub for outdoor recreation and historic preservation. The city is home to Toccoa Falls—a 186-foot natural waterfall located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College—as well as Currahee Mountain and the Historic Camp Toccoa at Currahee site. The downtown district features a restored Amtrak train depot, local commercial storefronts, and the Historic Ritz Theatre. Situated along U.S. Route 123 and Georgia State Route 17 roughly 90 miles northeast of Atlanta, living in Toccoa provides direct access to state park facilities, local healthcare centers, and regional transportation corridors.
